Live Tracking
Live Tracking shows the latest Driver App location, driver availability, active orders, exact current/next stop, route distance, remaining route distance, speed, accuracy, and last-seen time.
Operating procedure
- Select driver department to limit the board to operational driver teams.
- Select a driver card to open Driver Detail.
- Check Last seen before relying on location. Offline/stale information is intentionally shown in a different visual state.
- Review Location and Destination. Destination follows the next incomplete assigned stop; after a stop is completed, it advances to the following stop.
- Use the map/location action to open current location and destination directions in a new tab when needed.
- Use linked order numbers to open the related order in a new tab. Completed orders display as completed history.
Distance interpretation
- Route Distance identifies the current planned stop-to-stop segment, for example
STOP 0101 -> STOP 0102. - Remaining Distance is routed from the current GPS location to the next destination, with route time. It can decrease, increase, or change if the driver changes route.
- It is not a static total-order distance. It updates when location reports arrive and when a driver completes the current stop.
Required conditions
Live data requires the Driver App to be signed in, location permission allowed while using the app, network availability, and a successfully assigned/pushed task. A location may be stale when the phone is offline, the app is not running, location permission is blocked, or the device has not recently sent an update.
Export
Download Excel provides one row per recorded location update. It includes exact stop/task number, destination address, and separate recorded date/time values. Do not use one exported row as a complete journey history; use the full export range.
Common issues

| No signal / no live update | Ask driver to open the app, allow location while using, confirm mobile data, then pull to refresh. |
| Wrong destination | Check Planner assignment and stop completion order; the next incomplete pushed stop is the destination source. |
| Distance differs from a public route website | Confirm the same coordinates/address and routing endpoint. Route distance is recalculated from the driver’s latest location, not a saved total. |
| Driver not shown | Check department applies to Live Tracking and the driver is active in that department. |
